Cathy has over eighteen years experience in the food and nutrition field. Having studied Food and Beverage at the Barbados Hotel School (in the Caribbean) before working as a pastry cook for four years at one of Barbados’s top hotels honing her baking skills, she then went on to earn a dual bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Journalism at an accredited university in Pennsylvania before relocating to New York City to work as a Food Production Manager for a top Food Service company widely recognized throughout the country. Cathy started in the desserts business making premium baked pastries, edible favors, custom gourmet gift baskets and beautifully decorated cakes for all occasions. A baked creation from Sweet Memories Desserts-Catering, Inc. is always well-received. Leroy is an alumni of The French Culinary Institute in New York City, where he studied Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. With over fifteen years experience, combined working first as a cook, before assuming the top position as Chef Manager for a top Brooklyn Jewish hospital. Some of his responsibilities included overseeing a staff of over 20 employees, implementing food related policies and planning small and large functions. Leroy also had the pleasure of catering a cocktail reception for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and a luncheon for Richard H. Carmona, the Surgeon General of the United States, and many other well-known dignitaries. Additionally, Leroy was also the executive chef for another off-premised catering company prior to joining Sweet Memories Desserts-Catering, Inc.
